Why train the brain?

Because how the brain learns can be changed.

Brain training is based on neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to adapt and build new connections through practice. With the right kind of challenge, we can improve how we focus, remember, process and respond to information in school, at work and in daily life.

Cognitive skills are the hidden engine behind learning and performance. When attention, memory or processing speed are weak, even simple tasks can feel effortful. Children may struggle to keep up in demanding school environments. Adults often compensate with extra effort, humour or late nights — but it can be exhausting.

In this training, each session is personalised and adjusted to your current level and progress. Just like muscles grow when we progressively increase resistance, the brain responds when we gently and consistently stretch its capacities.

For children, early support can prevent them from falling behind and build a sense of confidence that stays with them. For adults and seniors, training can make everyday thinking sharper and support long-term brain health.

Core cognitive areas

Skills strengthened through brain training.

Cognitive skills are the foundation of learning, thinking and managing information. Training targets the specific abilities that underlie reading, writing, problem-solving and everyday tasks.

Key cognitive skills
  • Attention & concentration – increasing how long and how deeply we can focus without being pulled away.
  • Processing speed – helping the brain take in, understand and respond to information more quickly and accurately.
  • Memory – strengthening short-term, working and long-term memory, each with a specific role in how we learn and retain knowledge.
  • Executive functions – decision-making, planning, organisation and flexible thinking, so we can prioritise, start tasks and adapt to change.
  • Problem-solving & critical thinking – building the mental flexibility needed to analyse, reason and make choices.
Brain training programs

Three core programs, personalised for each brain.

All programs are tailored to the individual. Session length, frequency and difficulty are adjusted over time to keep the brain engaged and progressing.

Who it’s for

Brain training can help at many stages of life.

Training is always adjusted to the age, abilities and goals of the person in front of Adela. The work is collaborative and respectful, never forceful or shaming.

Children & teens

Many young people struggle to keep up with the cognitive demands of school — especially in highly competitive environments.

  • Children who find it hard to focus, sit still or remember instructions
  • Teens who feel overwhelmed by reading, writing or exam preparation
  • Students with ADHD or learning differences who need tailored support

Brain training offers them tools to take in information more effectively and to feel more capable in the classroom.

Adults, seniors & recovery

Brain training is also valuable later in life — to support mental performance, protect brain health or recover after neurological events.

  • Adults who feel mentally “foggy”, slow or easily distracted
  • Seniors who want to keep their minds active and engaged
  • Stroke survivors rebuilding cognitive skills such as memory, attention and speech

The focus is always on building on existing strengths and making meaningful progress from where you are now.

Ongoing training across a few years

“I’ve learned how to take a photo image in my mind instead of remembering bit by bit. In Chinese I now can take such a photo – before I had to look many times and copy character by character.”

Thomas, 12 years old
Memory & concentration training

“Joining the training was one of the best decisions I made for my son. The teachers’ feedback changed from ‘not focused’ to noticing his engagement and progress.”

Curious whether brain training is right for you or your child?

You don’t have to decide alone. A first conversation is a chance to share your situation, ask questions and explore whether cognitive training, coaching, or a mix of both would be most helpful.

There is no obligation to continue — and if Adela believes another type of support might be more suitable, she will say so openly.
